It hurts since the day you left
I wish that day we’d never met
I saw you leaving from above
What we’ve done can’t be undone

Silent nights comfort my cry
When I dream of reasons why
Why what was wasn’t enough
And why you gave up on our love

I tried and tried, offering my hand
Until I got lost in the no-man’s land
I loved you so, to the moon and back
Cowards die many times before their death

You took my love, I took your lie
My heart learnt so I can’t regret

It’s been half year since we split
And my heart can’t stop to bleed
I know I’ll never know the truth
This sadness’s stealing all my youth

Busy days help to get by
The words you said that meant goodbye
Sometimes I pray to Godhead
That we’ll meet before we’re dead

I tried and tried, offering my heart
Until our cups filled and then broke apart
I loved you so, in the no-man’s land
Cowards die many times before their death

You took my love, I took your lie
My heart learnt so I can’t regret

Loud thoughts scream at me your name
That will never mean the same
The same as when we shared our love
When you were my only one
