I know it’s been a while since we last spoke
I remember that life has been hard for you
That things didn’t go the way you expected
But, hope you can find comfort in these words

We went through things that no one should have
And things didn’t go the way we intended to either
But we can’t blame ourselves for that
We tried, remember

We had to endure so much from everyone
And through our problems at each other
But worst part was, nobody understood us
We were alone, remember

We became so volatile at the end
And everything slowly got out of hand
But in the end, I walked away
