Thought it went away
It was something to get rid of
But it came back to say
You’re missing on the self love

Fought and thought this time it wouldn’t be the same
That since then I would be a brand new human
Remembered the past that proved me wrong each day
So today I’m in the place from which I came

Change is always worth the wait
Sadness I feel to rise again
Heal me to live till the harvest’s end
To pass through October’s gate

I beg it, go away
To be myself once again
A man is what he hides
A river never be crossed twice

Cried and lied that this time it would be the same
That since then I would have better acumen
Forgot that the future is always two-way
So today I’m in the place from which I came

Change is always worth the wait
Hope that I feel to try again
Heal me to live till the harvest’s end
To pass through October’s gate
