Pieces to break in compart
What was there to be here
Was too far
The eyes have opened, they’re alive

We’d wanna find those places
Where the shards can mend the heart
We’d have to close those spaces
For the love to heal apart

In the tone saying no
Unless the words can say yes
Cold as stone on our own
Truth with the time to undress

Pieces to bend though they’re sharp
Driven directly to the ground

We’d wish to lose those spaces
Where the whole can break apart
We’d have to open the places
For the parts to mend the heart

In the words saying no
Unless the tone can say yes
Warm unknown together grown
Truth with the time to undress
