I looked at that thing
Time and time again just to see
If I missed something
That wasn’t your cup of tea
And I spent days and nights
Trying to figure it out
To understand how I could’ve
Prevented that turnaround

Though, now it’s how it is
And I’m closing that old case
That’s now long overdue
I’ve got to accept it
By choosing to keep pushing through

It ain’t easy to find a way to one’s heart
Nor it’s easy to split two worlds apart
How I wish I’d have a bird’s-eye view
To see that case from your point of view

For real and true
I wish I knew
I’m feeling blue
Thinking of you
