The olden days
Now became a phrase
Amsterdam’s haze covered all the fuss
Leaving late
Searching for our space
In a crowd we crawled to get on
Trains that carried on there with us
On our last leg
We lived our life set in ways
These new days
Will once be a phrase
When times changed and we did with time
Showed true face
Leaving us to stew
Every day we stared at four walls
Coping with the routine at most
It is all new
Sometimes we must learn the hard way
