What does a dream about the teeth tell you?

A couple days ago, I had a weird dream. It was when I was walking through the park with a guy, then he stopped walking and pulled my tooth out. I told him to stop but he didn’t listen to me and continued pulling. It was scary and it hurt so much, like I could feel the pain in my dream, and I also saw the blood coming out.

I woke up feeling relieved that it was just a dream. I couldn’t remember who it was though but I was definitely sure I knew him in the dream. However, when I woke up, the face of the guy became blurred and later in the day when I was trying to remember the face of him, it is just a shine of light that hid his face. I told the story to my friends, who believed it was an unlucky sign so they recommended me to search for the meaning of the dream on Google.

Following their advice, I searched for the meaning of the dream in Vietnamese to see what it is really about. So in the below I am going to summarize some cases about teeth dreams that are contemplated deciphered by the astrologers:

• A dream that you extracted a tooth: this illustrates that you may experience unfortunate or unlucky things.
• A dream that you asked a person to pull out your tooth, then a person who extracted it will likely die (This is so scary!!! I hope no one ever dreams about this)
• A dream that you extract tooth for other people: indicating that you will experience embarrassment, likely to be humiliated by others.
• A dream that you lose a tooth: you may experience family bereavement.

However, in Vietnamese folk, we also decrypt the tooth extraction dreams in many different directions:

• If you dream all your teeth are extracted, your life is about to change. For instance, you might be promoted or demoted at work, or your family is about welcoming a new member.
• Dreaming having a tooth extracted might bring a good news about buying a new house or, in contrast, express the inner depression or anger.
